Microsoft Sales Copilot is reimagining sales. Integrated seamlessly into your daily tools across Microsoft 365 and Teams, Sales Copilot harnesses the power of generative AI and customer data to keep sellers in their flow of work so they can spend more time with customers.

 

As we begin a new year, we have even more new features to share! Learn more as we discuss how Sales Copilot is added to Teams meetings automatically and how you can choose a different language for your Sales Copilot email drafts and replies. We also provide what you need to get started, stay connected, take part in our community, and provide product feedback.

 

Sales Copilot automatically added to Teams meetings no matter where the meeting is created

 

Until now, Sales Copilot was added automatically to meetings only when the meeting was created from Outlook with at least one connected contact. With our latest release, we’ve removed part of this limitation, and you’ll now see Sales Copilot automatically added to your Teams meetings regardless of where the meeting was created! A meeting still requires at least one external participant for Sales Copilot to be automatically added.

 

Whether you’re creating your meeting from Outlook, Teams, or even from a custom app built on Power Platform, Sales Copilot will be automatically added to your Teams meeting.

Enable language selection for email drafts in Sales Copilot

 

Today, Sales Copilot automatically selects the language used in email drafts based on the email thread language (when replying to an email) or the prompt language (when composing a new email).

 

In some cases, a seller may want to choose a different language. For example, they may receive an email in English and wish to reply in their local language, or they may prefer to save to their CRM in English when the email was in their local language.

 

With this new functionality, sellers can now refine the draft provided by Sales Copilot and choose a different language than the one suggested automatically. Copilot will use this language when drafting their reply or composing a new email message.
